Musing Through Matthew-Dinning With Sinners

Let us muse again today from Matthew 9:10-12 and the theme of Jesus the King. When Matthew was converted he had a feast at his house and invited his tax collector and sinner buddies. He also invited his Savior to speak at the supper. The Pharisee saw this as a stone to throw at Jesus saying He can’t be much why He eats with sinners and publicans. When Jesus heard of it He said where else would you find a doctor but among sick folks.. Surely this crowd  was sin cursed and disease with iniquity. Lord let me be found among sinners only that I might share with them the healing balm of salvation.
