The Blood And Its Song

Let us muse today from the songs about the blood. Are you washed in the blood? Are your garment spotless are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? These are all questions posed by the songwriter. When I sing the chorus I like to answer the questions and say yes I’m washed in the blood, my garments or spotless, they are white as snow. I have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. Saved, saved, glory I’m saved, my sins are all pardon, my guilt is all gone, I’m saved by the blood of the Lamb. When I see the blood I will pass over you. Alas and did my Saviour bleed and did my sovereign die. Would He devote that sacred head for such a worm as I? Oh precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fountain I know nothing but the blood of Jesus. Let us rejoice in songs today because of His precious blood.
