Let us muse again today from I Peter 1:6 and Peter’s precious pictures. We are looking at precious trials and an exposition of timing. We are told that they are for but a season and if needs be. The word season is the smallest portion of time. In light of eternity trials and temptations here will seem as nothing when we get there. The phrase needs be means of a necessity. In order for us to conform into the image of Christ we must go through trials and temptations. Some go through much while others go through little God must grind us between the meal stones of trials and temptations before we can become bread for the masses.
