Let us muse again today from I Peter 1:7 and Peter’s precious pictures and precious trials. Let us look at an experience with trials today. I would be honest with you I would rather have an exposition of trials than an experience with trials. I noticed in our text an experience with trials will uncover the aim of all trials. Peter speaks here of the trial of our faith. All trials are aimed at our faith which is our belief or confidence in another. The word trial here is the one use for examining a doctor of medicine before he is given his Dr.’s degree. If you had to have brain surgery would you rather have a doctor who may Cs in his classes or one who made all As? Faith is the only thing that pleases God. It is the only currency heaven recognizes. It can only be increased or enhanced by much contact with the Word of God and trials.
