Let us muse again today from Matthew 8:33-34 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today we find the people more concerned with pigs than the souls of men. The pig keepers went into the town and told them of their great loss, no mention of the changed mad man. All the city came out and asked Jesus to leave. Oh how our world today is more concerned with the temporal pigs of this world then the eternal souls of men. He left because if He is not a welcomed guest He shall be gone. Oh, Lord, I thank Thee that Thou did not go away from me when I in my unregenerate state wish Thee to leave me alone.
