Let us muse again today from Matthew 8:32 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today we find it takes but one word and the word is go to send the demons from the mad man to the pigs. I am reminded of the verse from Martin Luther’s song A mighty Fortress is our God that says, “and tho this world with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us. The Prince of darkness grim, we tremble not for him; his rage we can endure for lo! his doom is sure one little word shall fail him“.
