Let us muse today from Nahum 1:12-13, 15 and God’s message to Judah. In verses 12-13 He assures Judah of victory over Assyria although they were outnumbered by the Assyrian army. In ancient days a courier would bring such news. Those on the walls when they saw the courier of good news coming of a great deliverance, they would remark of how beautiful are the feet of them that bring the good news. Paul used this picture in Romans 10 to describe the gospel preacher who brings the good news of the deliverance won at Calvary. This would be a good day to call your preacher or write him a note tell him how beautiful are his feet.
