Let us muse again today from Matthew 12:43 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our verse for today we find mention of the unclean spirit.How appropriate for the devil to be called the unclean spirit. We are told he goes out of a man of his own accord. He has given up occupancy but not ownership, he leaves with the key to the house. How many today Satan has left, they have taken on the air of religion, and morality but the unclean spirit still possesses their heart. In the text the unclean spirit finds all outside that man’s heart dry and unrestful. Beware he shall return to the heart of the one who looks to be such a fine person.
