Musing Through Matthew- The Light Factor

Let us muse again today from Matthew 5:14-15 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today we find the light factor. Paul tells us that a believer is one in whom God has stepped inside and said let there be light and it dispelled the darkness. Jesus tells us that one who has this kind of light can not hide it. Christ takes His light bearers sets them upon a light stand and expects them to shine where they are placed. Oh how often I have failed so miserably to let my light shine to the world around me and for this Lord I am so sorry. Let me be aware to look for that one who crosses my path today and needs me to light their way with the gospel.
