A Family Full Of The Holy Ghost

Let us begin today to muse from Luke chapter 1 and a family full of the Holy Ghost. Let us look today at Luke 1:5 and their background. This coupled Zacharias and Elizabeth lived in the days of Herod the king of Judea. This is the king who failed to see who Jesus was. Zacharias was a priest of the course of Abia, his wife Elizabeth was a daughter of Aaron. David divided the priesthood into 24 orders and the order of Abia was the eighth in the line of 24. Eight is the number of new beginnings and Abia means the father of worship. He married a girl by the name of Elizabeth which means the God of promise. Her descendents was of the family of Aaron who was Moses’ brother and the first high priest of Israel. Oh what connections to God these two had. Oh for strong attachments in these days of loose religion to the God of heaven.
