Habakkuk’s Prayer

Ley us muse today from Habakkuk 3:2 and a section I have entitled the prophet’s adoration. In this time of worship and adoration we find the source is  Habakkuk’s prayer. He prayed about three things one of which is revelation. He said when he heard the Lord speak he was afraid. He immediately says O Lord. I feel an O of desperation in our prayers often assures us an audience with God. He also prayed for revival in the phrase revive the work in the midst of the years. My how we need God to fall on us one more time in these days. He also prays for God’s remembrance of mercy. Lord when you have to judge in wrath temper it with your mercy. When I see these truths I almost want to say the greatest words the church can say today and they are let us pray.
