Let us muse again today from Matthew 15:15 and the theme of Jesus the king. Today our study takes us into a parable versus principle. Peter thinks that all Christ has been teaching about the heavenly plants and the blind has been a parable. Peter instead of grappling with this on his own goes right to the fountainhead of all truth and asked the Lord. It is not a parable that our Lord has taught but just simple principles of truth. Oh how often we as God’s people don’t get the simple truths being taught by our Lord because we failed to ask the teacher of all truth to teach us.
