Let us muse again today from Matthew 15: 10 and the theme of Jesus the king. We learn from our small but simply profound text today that our Lord would rather teach the bottom feeders. He turns to the sinners and publicans because He knows they will hear and understand. The Pharisees and scribes were to full of their tradition and their own beliefs to learn from Jesus. I would a million times over rather preach and teach people who know nothing about the Bible than long time so-called, “Christian” end of quote.
