Let us muse again today from Matthew 14:6 and theme of Jesus the King. In our text for study today we find a dance that pleased Herod and not God. It was Herod’s birthday and his step daughter dance for him. I can only imagine what kind of lewd dance that would please a bunch of drunk men. I blame a mother who permits the lewd dress and dance that will prompt filthy thoughts in the minds of men. It could be one day they find themselves doing the fire dance in hell together.
