Let us muse again today from Matthew 14:3-4 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for study today we find that divorce preaching cost. John the Baptist is not afraid to tell Herod he has no business being married to Herodias his brother Philip’s wife, for they both are still living. May I say clearly today it is still sin for a person to have two living mates. The Bible still calls it adultery. It cost John his head to preach this. It is still not popular to preach it today but popular or not it must be preached.
