Musing Through Matthew- A Mere Nobody

Let us muse again today Matthew 13:55-56 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text today we find that Jesus is looked upon as a mere nobody. Why He’s just a carpenter son, His mother is just plain Mary, and He has brothers and sisters. He is a mere nobody. How does He know these things surely He didn’t learn them in a carpenter’s shop. When they put Him on this level they thought they were freeing  themselves from having to listen to Him, but oh how wrong they were.
