Let us muse again today from Matthew 13:40-42 and the theme of Jesus the king. It is in this text we have a sobering thought on the end of the world. It is at that time that the holy Angels will be called to be the executioners of the wrath of the lamb. It is then that the tares will be rooted up from the real wheat. It will be those who have offended which means to cause others to stumble. It will also be those who have practiced iniquity . They will be cast into the furnace of fire. I would remind us this is not the annihilation theory. We know that these folks will burn forever because we’re told there is wailing and gnashing of teeth. These are both ing verbs indicating for ever. What a horrible thought. I thank God because of Jesus I’m not going to hell.
