Let us muse again today from Matthew 13:7 and the theme of Jesus the king. In today’s study we find the thorny place seed. In the original plowing of this field the thorns would have been plowed up, but how quickly they return. My how the thorns of our evil depraved nature will choke out the stranger seed of the Word of God. Let us be on guard lest our old nature has a monopoly on what he sown in our heart.
