Let us in muse again today from Matthew 10:38 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today we have the admonition to take up your cross. We learn here that all of us have a cross. I find a couple of things that will make our cross a light affliction. One is to not drag our cross but to take it up. A cross that is dragged is an extremely heavy cross. The other is to follow after Christ. When we make a big to do about His cross it makes ours an easy yoke.
