Let us muse again today from Matthew 10: 5-6 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text for today Jesus sends His disciples out on a special mission. This would give credence to those who may have a burden for a select group of people. Notice they were not to go to all the house of Israel but only to the lost sheep of this house. God is the only one who can put in a man’s soul an overwhelming sense of being lost are make him into a sheep. Let us not forget the overall mission is go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
