Let us muse again today from Matthew 8:18 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today we find our Lord going to the other side. He leaves were He is at, a place of much activity and popularity to go to a new and unknown place to the disciples. Oh how often we court the popularity and the applause of man, when our Lord clearly lived a life that avoided any hint of man’s applause. How can we do less in our lives and ministries.
