Let us muse again today from Matthew 6:9 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today our King continues to give His subjects a model prayer or pattern for true prayer on the subject of God’s will. We live in a day when all want things to go well and be problem and trouble-free days. We feel in days of trouble-free living God is really blessing. The prayer today is Lord thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let me exhibit in my life today perfect obedience as the heavenly being are doing no matter what may pass through my life this day. I have the confidence that things may happen but they do not just happen. The God of heaven who’s will shall be done is working out His plan for my life. May I do as old BB Caldwell the great preacher of yesterday said he did when he was having a spiritual storm on the seas of life, he would lay down in life’s boat pull the cover over his head and cry out sail on King Jesus sail on.
