Let us begin to muse today from Matthew 6:1 and the theme of Jesus the King. It is in our text today we find the subject of alms giving. Giving publicly is not condemn here but for publicity sake giving is condemn. We are told to take heed and be careful how we give and do for our King. We are prone to give and do in order to be seen. Our flesh loves recognition and because of this we must be extremely careful. Let us be givers and doers but may I and may you search our hearts and make sure our motives is to please the Father and nothing else.
