Musing Through Matthew-Cutting The Hand Off Better Than Going Hell

Let us muse again today from Matthew 5:20 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today our Lord deals with cutting the hand off is better than going to hell. We often in our walk with Christ will deal with evil in our lives but seldom deal with the source of the evil. Anything that leads me to do or think evil must be dealt with severely. If one sees that vain speculation and reasoning causes unbelief  let us have no part in it. We would be better to be a blind sited saint than a quick sighted sinner. The source of our evil must be dealt with harshly even as the sin itself.
