Let us muse again today from Matthew 4:20 in the theme Jesus the King. In our text we see an effectual call from the King to His subjects. The Bible says they straightway which is our word for immediately and without thought followed Him. I see also from our text that they were willing to leave their occupation and follow Him. This my friend is a powerful an effectual call. I blessed the day that I heard such a call that changed the direction of my life as well as the life of my wife, three sons, three daughter-in-laws, and now 15 grandchildren. Wow what I call. It has even now effected 8 the 15 grandchildren who now profess to know Christ as there Saviour.
