Let us muse again today from Matthew 4:7 and the theme of Jesus the King. My heart is drawn today to the little phrase and it is written again. Although Satan has abused the use of Scripture it does not stay Christ from flashing that Sword again. Our Lord laid out the age old commandment of Deuteronomy 6 where we are told not to tempt the Lord thy God. The word to Satan is not to stop tempting Christ but to stop tempting the Father. Lord let me not presume upon your grace today and tempt you with foolish rash living. Let me give high regard to the written Word and walk in its light.
