Let us muse again today from Matthew 3:7 and the theme of Jesus the King. Today we find in our text John’s stern rebuke. The religionists and the moralist have come to the baptismal service and John calls them a generation of vipers and asked them where did they get a warning to flee from the wrath to come. May the man of God not back down from delivering the message no matter how harsh if he is confident God has given it to him.
