Let us muse again today from Matthew 2:23 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text we see Jesus and His family dwelt in Nazareth. Jesus is often referred to by the word Netzar which means Branch and it is a derivative of the word Nazarene. The Jews of Jesus day would often spit on the ground and say Nazarene in discuss. Let us not be down cast at the names the devil will have the world hurled at us. In that sweet branch of Jesse we see Jesus as Jehovah, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
