Consider The Praise Of The Gospel

Let us muse today from John 1:13 and the theme of the Gospel according to the new birth. We are looking in these days at the declaration of the Gospel and the consideration of its praise. Who should get the praise for my new birth? We are told that we are not born again by the blood of animals or men. We are told that we’re not born by the will of the flesh or the will of man. These phrases mean the carnal desire or ability to decide did not cause me to be born again. The text says that the new birth is of God. All our praise for our new birth must go to Him and Him alone. If one ounce of my new birth depends on my desire or decision it is not all of grace and thus it is not a biblical salvation.
