Let us muse today from Isaiah 40:31 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We are looking at the helping work of God and the fact He helps the walking. I was told one day by an old retired preacher that Isaiah had written the words fly, run, and walk in our text in the wrong order. He then laughed and told be no they are recorded right. He said when I was young I thought I could fly. When I got a little older I found I could only run with God. He said in my old age I’m doing the hardest thing ever and that is to simply walk with God day after day. When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word He demands we trust and obey.
