The Stars

Let us muse again today from Isaiah 40:12 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We are looking these days at the measuring hand of God. We find in our text that He placed the stars in their orbit with a small unnoticeable gesture of the fingers. In the Genesis account of creation His only comment about the stars was and I made the stars also. There are 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone. There are 300 trillion other galaxies beyond ours with more stars in them than we have in ours. He numbered and named them all. The closest star to us is 13 light years away. The sun which is a star is classified as a dwarf star and one of the smallest of all the stars. How did they get there? They were placed there by a small unnoticeable gestures of the fingers of our God.
