Let us muse again today from Isaiah 40:12 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We look again today at the strengthening Christ and His measuring hand. I see in our text that He has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand. This is the center part of the palm. All the waters of the world are placed in the palm of his hand. Our Lord has made no new water since creation. We see here that the Atlantic ocean, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Gulf of Alaska, Mississippi River, Red Sea, Dead sea, all the lakes, ponds, and the mud whole from the rain in your front yard are in the hollow of His hand. I know many are offended about mixed bathing but since all of His people have been placed in His hand I think I will lay back in the water and rest a while.
