Let us muse again today from Isaiah 40: 10-11 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We are looking today at the strengthening Christ and His handiwork. I see in our text the mastering handiwork of our God. In verse 10 we find that He rules the world and all the governments with a strong hand. He could certainly be seen as a dictator. In verse 11 we see Him with that same arm and hand pick up His little sheep, draw them into His bosom, and hand feed them. He may be a dictator ruling over this world as a sovereign but to us who know Him He is a gracious benevolent dictator. He is mastering me.
