Let us muse again today from Isaiah 9:6 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We are looking at the provision of the seed and the titles of sufficiency. Our title today is the Everlasting Father which tells us He is the answer to all of life’s death. Life is full of death. When He saved me He conceived in me the seed of Himself and I now possess eternal, perpetual life which is unending life. Death in the Bible is always an action verb and never a state of being verb. Death is something one does it is not something that one is. Once I die it is over. I will exhale here and inhale over their. My coffin will become a hope chest. On resurrection morning the bridegroom will open all the hope chests giving Himself the treasure of His bride. They have been with Him in spirit form since their death and now they shall be with Him in bodily form forever.
