Let us muse again today from Isaiah 9:6 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. I turn our attention to His holy sufficiency in the provision of the seed. The five titles given to the one wrapped in this seed are amazing. In the title wonderful we find the answer to all of life’s darkness. There are two things repeated in the life of the believer that are just wonderful. The one is the repetition of the virgin birth. God planted with in us the incorruptible seed of the Word of God and quickened us bringing us from the deadness of our sins. He also repeated the creation when He as Paul said stepped into our hearts and commanded the light to shine out of darkness. My friend that is simply wonderful.
