Let us muse today from John 17:24 and the high priestly prayer. It is here we find the ultimate desire of the Son. The desire is that those given to Him as a love gift be with Him where He is at. This gift was accomplished when the Father gave to the Son and elect people, place them in Him, and all of this occurred before the foundation of the world. This is conveyed to us in the statement of Thou hast loved Me before the foundation of the world. Oh what love the Father had for the Son and to think He would shower this love on the likes of us.
