Let us muse again today from John 17:6 and the High Priestly prayer. We looked already at the subject of the revelation of salvation and those to whom He is revealed. Today I see in our text a characteristic of those to whom he has been revealed. He says of them they have kept thy word. The word kept means to watch or guard as a military Sentinel would guard a prisoner to keep them from escaping. It means to keep an eye on or to have eyes only for it. It means to hold fast and handle with great reverence. Is this mine, is this your relationship today to His word?
