Let us muse again today from John 17:5 and the high priestly prayer. In our text today we see the request for reciprocating glory. Our Lord says now that I have glorified you Father, will you now in turn lift Me up, esteem Me highly, and hold Me in the highest regard. Paul tells us because the Son humbled Himself as a servant and became obedient unto death the Father has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name. Let us remember if in this life we glorify the Father, He shall one day in eternity glorify us.
