Let us muse again today from John 17:3 and the high priestly prayer. In the prayer Jesus tells of one with the marks of eternal life will have the desire to know both the Father and the Son. The word know is not to know all about Him. The word means to become intimate with and one with another. After 42 years of marriage and living 20 years in a motel room the wife and I have become one. We have but one mind between us and finish each other’s sentences. I desire to know our Lord in this way.
