Let us muse again today from John 17:3 and the high priestly prayer. In our text today we have the defining of eternal life. The word know is a word of intimate knowledge or a desire to become one with another. The one who has eternal life is not one who has been down the Romans Road, prayed a prayer, or made a profession but the one who is actually seeking to know in an intimate way God who is the Father and His Son whom the Father sent. The overwhelming desire will be to become one with them.
