Let us muse again today from John 17:1 and the high priestly prayer. We are looking at the phrase the hour is come and the control of this hour. How can our Lord know so much about the cross, His death, and the timing of it, if He is not the sovereign controller of all things. I rest in the fact that He knows all that will happen in my life from the beginning to the end not because He saw it down through time as some would foolishly say but because He planned it all thus according to His good pleasure.
