Promise Of Divine Transformation

Let us muse today from II Peter 1:5-8 Peter’s precious pictures and promise of divine habitation. We are looking at all that is ours because Christ has taken up residence in us by divine habitation. The one we begin to look at today is the promise of divine transformation and the practice of transformation. Peter tells  us because Christ dwells in us we will give all diligence to become like Christ in our outward man. The phrase give all diligence means a zeal, effort, and to stretch every fiber of the being. This is not an act of will power but the transforming power of the Holy Ghost being released in us and through us to be less like us and more like Him.
