Ornament Of Origin

Let us muse again today from Peter’s precious pictures and precious faith. I turn our attention today to the ornament of origin from our text in II Peter 1:1. Peter calls our faith precious which means rare,  valuable beyond calculation, and one-of-a-kind. I cannot believe God gave me the same faith as He gave Abraham. I am reminded of the night God told Abraham he would have a people come from him that would number the stars of the sky and the sand on the seashore. His wife Sarah was barren which means sterile with no ability to have children. The Bible said Abraham believed and God imputed to him righteousness. We have done so little with the same faith they did so much with. Lord, I believe help thou my unbelieveth.
