Let us muse today from Luke 1:59-60 and the people whom God fills with the Holy Ghost and the birth of John. Our text tells us when they came to circumcise John the neighbors said he will be called Zacharias but Elizabeth said it is not so but he will be called John. The text tells us that not only was Elizabeth going to follow the word her husband received from the Lord but she was submissive to her husband and even to a word she never heard herself. Holy Ghost filled people follow the Word of God even when it comes through an authority figure like a husband, parent, or an employee.
