Setting Of Prophecy

Let us muse again today from John 18:8-9 and Peter’s perception problem. We are looking today at Peter’s lowly denial and the setting of prophecy. I am pointing out the setting of which is going on  while Peter decides to live by sight instead of by faith. In verses 8-9 we see that this arrest is a fulfillment of prophecy. This is not something that can be humanly stopped In the middle of this setting of prayer, power, and prophecy which are all the great ingredients of faith living verse 10 tells us Peter is packing the heat of a sword and takes one of the high priest’s servant’s ear off. Is that not most of us in a nutshell living by sight and not by faith when we are constantly doing foolish things spiritually that make no sense.
