Witness of Supplication

Let us muse today from Luke 22:32 and Peter’s perception problem. In our text we are dealing with Peter’s lack of dependability and a witness of supplication. Instead of our Lord telling Peter He would stop Satan from sifting him He tells Peter I have been praying for you. What is our Lord praying for while we are being sifted? He says I have prayed that your faith would not fail. The phrase has the idea of losing heart, giving up, or fainting. What a great blessing to know while I am in hell’s sifter I’m on heaven’s supplication list.
