Love’s Eternal Definition

Let us muse again today from I Corinthians 13 and the superiority of Christ’s love. Today we will look at the eternal definition of love. The word Paul uses here is translated charity which is  the Greek word agape. This is a far different word than the greek word for love which is phelo love which means to like. Agape love always originates with God and is channeled through man and exhibited in unbelievable sacrifices toward others.
