Let us muse today from Jonah 2:9 and Jonah’s faithful devotion in his storm. I see in our text a principle that Jonah learned in his storm. Jonah said in our text that salvation is of the Lord. He had to get in a whale’s belly in order to learn that. I have found that everything I did in my salvation God did it first causing me to do what I did. Before I chose him He chose me. Before I received him He received me. Before I called on Him He called on me. Before I reached up to Him He reached down to me. Why would I speak of what I did in salvation I think I will just proclaim salvation is of the Lord.
