Let us muse today from Malachi 3:1-6 and a section I am calling the Lord’s arrival. This section tell us He will come as the governor. It seems Malachi leaps from His first coming to His second coming. He comes as the covenant keeping God and the refiner with fire. These are certainly symbols of His coming to purge the dross from His people at the tribulation. He says in verse 4 the sacrifice will be offered again which many believe will be during the 1000 year millennial reign. In verses 5-6 He cleanses all as the Lord of Host the one who wins all battles before they are fought. He reveals Himself to Jacob’s sons as the Lord who has never changed.
