The Lord’s Arrival

Let us began to muse today from Malachi 3:1 and a section I am calling the Lord’s arrival. In verse one  we are told that the Lord will send a messenger to announce His coming. We know this messenger to be John the Baptist. The Lord had been silent for 400 years and the religious people had settled into a rut of standing on what they thought instead of what God said. We are told the Lord will come with grace and will come suddenly to the temple. He came and found them marketing their religious wares and the Lord whipped the merchants, overturned their tables, and ran them out of the Holy place.
